Just to share the story bout my short trip to Houston…
Nothing so special as this was my 3rd trip, and I don’t really like staying at western country..mostly bcoz of the food.. I cannot live with pasta, potatoes and burgers…
And I missed the merdeka day celebration..
During this 1 week trip, I didn’t spend much time to explore the city.. what I do like bout western people is their respect to women. I feel like im treated like a VIP.. the guys were all very gentleman and really respects the women.. they pull the chair for me, open the door for me, ladies always go first.. not like Malay guys who stands on their “macho-konon” but act like kitty cat..
This time I had a chance to meet the Malaysian community in Humble. They are all very nice and have such strong relationship between them, but unfortunately I don’t have enough time to join their activities. Next time, ill make sure that ill visit them again.

I guess it still not too late to talk bout raya that was just ended last month.. it was the day that ive been waiting since forever..the most precious time that I always treasure. I was in charge on the interior, as usual. But, this year, I didn’t change the wall color like I used to. I keep the luxurios gold for the main living room, red chilli for the 2nd living room and Balinese mood to the dining room...
New task for me this year was to prepare the raya food, bcoz my other sister were not around (at their in-laws). So, I had a work-out the night bfore raya, with my younger sister to prepare rending, curry and stuffs.. no house-maid this time, they all went back to Indon for vacation..so..it was quite a pain.. luckily the result was not bad..
1st raya, visiting close family
2nd raya, visiting outside kampong..
3rd raya, 1st time going to Kampung Sebuyo..just to try new scenario..but end up exausted during the journey.. the ferry sucks!! Have to wait for nearly 3 hours to get cross the river.. a lunch ahs become dinner as we arrive quite late..and reach home at 12 midnite… but, really love the experience..
4th raya.. reunion with ex-classmate in kch..new faces this year, bobos n elsy.
5th raya..cannot remember… go back to Miri on the 7th raya..
Making my own open house in Miri the following week. 1st time hosting it by myself and it took me 3 days to prepare all the food..
After all… raya is still my favourite day..

brunei trip

Last Saturday, 11th Nov 2007..a last minute plan to visit my fren in Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) end up become such a great time.. we spent 2 days touring the royal city. One good thing bout this city is the price for the electrical gadgets were very cheap. You can get a quality 29" TV (not plasma) with only rm700.. its about 40% cheaper than in Msia. I accidently bought myself a box fan and an electric jug (which I dont actually need but just cannot resist the attractive price  ). Another interesting thing bout Brunei is, there is no restriction on the pirated CDs.. so, they can sell 1 vcd at only 1 dollar=rm2.60, and DVD for 2 dollars. I bought few korean drama box sets, each only cost me 20 dollar, very cheap!! Ever heard bout Jerudong park? It used to be free, but now you have to pay 5 dollars per entry, and you can play everything the whole day. it opens from morning (not sure wat time) until late night. theres not much people at the park at one time, so you can play with no limit, no need to que. my favourite is the water shock, go-kart n bumper car. but sorry, no roller-coaster (under construction). so..it is worth to visit this city..only 2hrs driving from Miri. To Farhan and Ee..thanks for the wonderful time and hope we can make another trip with bigger number...Enjoy life!!
